The Navajo County Sheriff’s Posse is the authorized volunteer Search and Rescue organization serving under the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office. Our members support emergency response, rescue operations, and public safety efforts across Navajo County, working alongside law enforcement and partner agencies.

Each year the Posse rides more than 200 miles on horseback from Holbrook to Scottsdale, carrying mail and raising funds for Search and Rescue. Our next ride takes place at the end of January 2027.
